Prague is one of the places I’ve been to a bunch of times because you can’t get tired of this beautiful city! It’s fun to explore Prague (Czech: Praha) with your friends or to go there for a weekend trip with your family. The architecture is beautiful and the people are charming. It’s a great city to visit during all the seasons.
FACTS ABOUT PRAGUE

I’ve been to Prague twice during the summer and both times I had a really good time. The first time I visited the city, I went there with my family and the second time was with my best friend. Both times I walked a lot and did very similar activities. I walked over the Charles Bridge a bunch of times and saw the Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock. The first time I went to Prague, my family and I rented a paddle boat at the Vltava River. We had a great time – until my phone slipped out of my pocket and fell into the water. It was gone for forever. Did I learn my lesson? Yes. From then on I always put my phone into my backpack when I was on a boat. LOL
Activities for the winter:
- Go to the Christmas Market at the Old Town Square or to the Prague Castle Christmas Market
- Go ice-skating in Prague’s Old Town
The one time I went to Prague during the winter, was with my sister and my mom. It was the Christmas weekend and we thought it would be nice to go visit the Christmas market at the Old Town Square. There was an enormous, beautiful Christmas tree and we loved the market. There were little stalls and people would sell: Christmas decorations, warm winter clothes, food, and warm beverages. We wanted to have dinner right at the Old Town Square and found a little café/restaurant. Honestly, we didn’t like it. That was the only negative experience we had during our Christmas trip. The food was cold and the service really bad. I’d recommend having dinner somewhere else, where fewer tourists are.
